Job Morphing
Job morphing is:
a. when you take your so-so job and, through patience and your own efforts, find a way to vastly improve it. Kind of like magic or alchemy, you work to change your job into something totally different and better for you.
b. when you take your so-so job and use it as a springboard for an entirely new career. E.g. Rob Burnett started his television career as a page for David Letterman in 1985, and later became the head writer for the show in 1992, then the shows’s producer.
