Let’s see if I can do it in 140 characters, which is the maximum size of a tweet – a message sent on Twitter. That’s 109 characters (including spaces and punctuation). Oops now THAT’s 167 characters and I would have to edit it down to 140 or less to be able to actually tweet it.
Hopefully that’s enough to explain what a tweet is. Oh…I guess the other part is people use all kinds of abbreviations to squeeze in more content. There used to be ads like “If u cn read ths ad, u cn get a gd job!” It’s kind of like that.
