About Ronnie Ann

Ronnie Ann, the founder of Work Coach Café, has an MBA in Finance with a minor in Economics, but just as proudly a B.A. in Theater and a minor in Psychology. For 10+ years, she worked as an independent organizational consultant to a major university where she specialized in IT business process improvement, project management, and workplace coaching. From 2006-2011, she was the primary writer as well as chief, cook and bottle washer for Work Coach Café.

Ronnie has an array of real-world experience at various levels in the public, private, non-profit, and academic sectors. She helped start a transitional residence for formerly incarcerated women, led the start-up of an environmental demonstration project, helped design human-centered IT business processes, and even worked on the Chrysler loan workout. She also worked as an extra on All My Children (loved it) and, when she was young, waitressed, ran an elevator, laced skates, built shelves for a community center, and handed out keys in a locker room. And she’s rounded up cattle. (She just likes telling people about that.)

As part of her consulting work, she was often asked to help with the hiring process, from initial resume screening, to phone interview, all the way through to the final decision. This first-hand interview process experience, added to the over 60 jobs and consulting assignments she got herself, forms the basis of the real-world experience she shares here on Work Coach Café.

Ronnie Ann has moved on and is no longer answering questions on Work Coach Café, but if you need to reach her for any other reason, she can be found at RonnieAnn2007 at AOL.com.
