A couple of weeks ago, Jason told us about a second interview he’d had for a job he really wanted. Well, he just left a comment telling us he got the offer. Wuhoo!
Although I wish I could have done more for him, I can’t take even one iota of credit for helping him get the job. He did it all himself. And I’m so proud of how well he handled everything. You’ve got a great attitude, dude.
On a personal note, I want to let him know how much I enjoyed just being able to listen to him and offer a bit of feedback and encouragement. Interviewing can be a scary and sometimes lonely process. One of my greatest pleasures is helping make it a little easier for people. What fun to see it all work out the way he wanted!
Thanks for sharing part of your journey with us, Jason. I wish you much luck now and in the future! Please let us know how it’s going.

Thank you so much! It was nice having someone to listen. I read your site and you really do give some great advice. Thanks for everything!
40Plus has a tradition to recognize members who land a new job. At our regular Monday morning gatherings, after announcing the good news, they ring the large Navy ship’s bell housed in our offices.
To Jason, an honorary bell-ringer. Congrats and good luck.
