In case you haven’t heard about this yet: Microsoft Attempting to Patent System to Monitor Your Brain.
Basically, this is your brain at work and I get to monitor you from my cushy office!
I’m doing my best to keep myself from going into a full-fledged rant, since we don’t yet know where this will really lead. But as far as I’m concerned, the only thing this will do is kill productivity and creativity. Not to mention what it might do to our brain cells!
I’d like to ask if the very people who thought this up (including Microsoft leadership) would want this done to them? My policy is if I don’t want to be treated that way, I don’t look to do it to others.
That’s all I need to say for now. Sheesh!

Exactly! What makes me shudder most is that people are willing to dehumanize others enough to even contemplate such designs! Not that we can’t see the beauty of putting such devices on politicians, for instance! (-;
